Looks like I dinna need to get to Woodie early on the first day about 90 dogs to run before we get a run.
Expecting all the runs to be a big E anyway. Seems to be a lot of smalls at the show as well, most of them must be in the 5 to 7 grades.

KOF show
Had a run down in the morning of the show.
Weather was somewhat slightly cold with hailstone a few times during the day.
Sat night camping was very cold, ice formed on the inside of the windscreen.
Sun was a lot brighter but still a cold wind.
Agility wise Jodie was a little holy terror, I am sure she disna like the judges courses and goes on her own ones.
Ellie knocked a pole down really heavily, and landed on her shoulder, stopped immediatley and took her to the car. Within a few mintes she was alright, running after Jodie and bossing her around. On the Sunday both of them decided that the sleeping bag was better than the vet bed to lay on.

KOF show
Well we are off to the KOF show on Saturday and Sunday.
Long range weather forecast is for snow hope it is wrong, will need to take all the winter waterproofs.
This will be the first show without Jade, St Andrews was her favourite place, the burn that runs in the middle of the golf course, the beach, also the smashing ice cream shop.

Jilty Jade
Some really sad news, Jilty Jade went to sleep on the 20th March.
She was the best friend and companion to all of the family.
She was the one who started us out on this thing called agility, won her very 1st competion and had a second at the same show, Gleniffer away back in 1998.
Made it to senior in the old category and only need one win to get to advanced.
Think my handling was to blame for that one.
Hope she is running about over the rainbow bridge with Charlie, Mollie and her other friends.

Jodie and I are going to a fun agility show on Sat 03/03/12.
It is indoors and we have never been indoors before so how well will we go?
Also they have rubber contacts, never tried them before either so hope we have some fun and maybe good practice if we go to a show with them rubbery thingies.
Weather outside was pretty bad some snow and lots of rain.
Surface is like a peaty stuff with some woodchips through it, place was damp and all the stuff seemed to stick to Jodie like glue.
First Jumping run was an E, I cut the corner she came with me (my fault)
2nd run was quick also clear in around 22 secs which we came 5th. Large mediums and small in a combined class.
3rd run was agility she jumped off the dog walk and see saw so had the big E.
4th run was quick no rossies though, but we were the best small so Jodie won a squeaky toy.
When we came home the post had been and Agilitynet had sent us a 3rd place rossie for the Senior Agility League wow 2 rossies in one day.

2012
Well start of a new year and the first outdoor schedule is now online for KOF in April.
Looking forward to another year of going to shows, and meeting old friends.
Just hoping the petrol prices will come down so maybe we can go a wee bit further as well.

2011 Agility
Well our agility is completed for 2011, had a very good season but really should have done better.
Had some very good judges, and scrimers some brilliant courses as well.
We had with Jodie our first ever clear round in agility.
Also won 2 jumping rounds and had a few other rossies mostly with time faults or fences down.
I think Jodie was quick all year but stupid little errors make a big difference.
Maybe need to not go to the further away shows, as the petrol is eating up my pension money quickly.
At the time of writing we have finished 3rd in the oldies, platinum smalls on Agilitynet which is very good considering we have only done about 8 shows this year.
